Shells

$90.00$150.00

Limited Edition Print of 100

This black and white, vintage style ink work of shells is inspired by the botanist and biologist Ernst Haeckel. These otherworldly specimens from the depths of the ocean are so intricate and detailed that they took over 100 hours to hand illustrate. Our favourite is the hmiddle hero shell laced with tiny micro pearls.

Hand illustrated using pigment liner at our studio in Surry Hills, Sydney. Printed using archival inks on a Canson heavyweight, smooth matte etching rag, acid free, archival museum grade 310 gsm stock. Prints are sold unframed, and fit in standard IKEA Ribba frames 30x40cm and 40x50cm.
